Johns holiday just started today, so it was time to take a break from painting, sewing and all that stuff. We went to a Fischer village called Hvidesande, it was rather cold, and of course I had to get into just a few secondhand shops. Here is what i found..Now it is bedtime for little ones, and strawberries and cream for big ones.

Well...What can I say, its not pretty or practical. Something had to be done. The apartment is small so everything has to be very organised...and we will get there. But first paint the floor a Bright white..and...and...and....

Just some funky round things...All the pictures are taken at Textilforum They are all pictures of old textile machinery, except the red moderne red fireextinguisher in the left uppercorner..

One of the good things about getting a child is that you suddenly are surrounded with other things. You also start to think what is it he likes about it. I have picked out ten thing that Seth really likes. The first one is a ball I have made for him, it is soft and still easy for him to grab. These have been made for many many years and I understand, They are a lot of fun to make, baby's like them, and they are beautiful...I think I have to make more of them. If not for Seth then for my self
Here are some good places to buy toys and other kids stuff...danish websites...

This leg of the activity rack is just so much more interesting than the things hanging on it. He spends a lot of time just moving it around.

This is a Skwish.. a faboulos toy from Manhattan toy that they have made in new colours.

The teddy beer in crochet hangs from and activity rack, it is from Sebra and the rattle is from Brio

A belt from one off my dresses, is a favorite. But he only gets to play with it when I am around...

This is a musicbox, found secondhand. I has a really nice melody and sound. He listen to it before he starts screaming for half an hour,,and then finally falls asleep...kids are so sweet.

This is what he looks at, when he gets his diapers changed. Its a butterfly mobile, that i painted ( it had lots of cobalt blue and red (not a nice red) that I am not so fund of ). the paint off course changed the balance so I had to add some beads. Luckily its the beads that he is the most interested in.

This woodenring has been one of his favorites, it was my intention to make some toy out of it, but he likes it just the way it is, It is about 10 cm. and is perfect for his hands. Does anyone sell simple woodenrings as toys ?

A big box off colours and "stuff", he forgets things so easily, so it is nice to give him "new" things...

He just likes to play around with the pillow bindings, so simple

Seth's blanket....It is from a bigger secondhand blanket that I split up in two, It is double layered and I crocheted a new edge on it. I like the colour combination a lot.
